Friends of Legal Services Hosts 40th Annual Book Sale to Support Legal Aid in Chambersburg
The Friends of Legal Services is organizing its 40th Annual Book Sale at Wilson College in Chambersburg, scheduled for May 8-10, 2026. This event aims to raise funds for Franklin County Legal Services, which provides civil legal assistance to low-income residents. The sale will feature tens of thousands of books across more than 60 categories, including special collector's items like first editions of notable works. The event will also offer CDs, DVDs, puzzles, and more. The sale is supported by local sponsors and will include food vendors. Proceeds will directly benefit the legal aid services provided to the community.
