Researchers have discovered some of the strongest accelerations ever produced on Earth within a nuclear fireball, offering new insights into quantum chromodynamics (QCD). The study, led by physicists Yu-Gang Ma and Xu-Guang Huang, utilized simulations to explore the acceleration dynamics in quark-gluon plasma, a state of matter formed when atomic nuclei collide at high speeds.
