Woman Sues for $10M After Being Struck by Bat at Yankees Game
Stephanie Duluc, a 37-year-old senior healthcare executive from New Jersey, has filed a $10 million lawsuit after being struck in the head by a baseball bat during a New York Yankees game. The incident occurred on June 2, 2026, when a bat slipped from the hands of Cleveland Guardians player José Ramírez and flew over the protective netting, hitting Duluc. The lawsuit alleges that the netting in front of Duluc's section was lower than in adjacent sections, creating a gap that allowed the bat to pass through. Duluc suffered severe injuries, including a traumatic brain injury and concussion, and has been unable to return to work.
