OSF Opens New Wound Care Center in Galesburg to Address Chronic Wound Treatment Needs
OSF Wound Care has inaugurated a new wound care center in Galesburg, located at 3375 N. Seminary St. The center aims to provide advanced treatment for chronic, non-healing wounds, a growing concern affecting 6.7 million people in the U.S. The hospital has partnered with Healogics, a leading provider of chronic wound care services, to offer a systematic approach to treatment. This includes specialized wound dressings, debridement, compression therapy, advanced cellular products, topical growth factors, edema management, and non-invasive vascular assessment. The clinic operates on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon, coordinating follow-up care through patients' primary care providers.
