Agnello, convicted of COVID-fund fraud, was initially set to begin his 15-month prison sentence in June but received a reprieve to undergo the organ transplant. The surgery was postponed due to Victoria Gotti's severe infection, leading Agnello to request an extension of his surrender date. The judge's decision mandates that the transplant occur by Monday, or Agnello must report to prison. Prosecutors argue that Agnello could donate the kidney while incarcerated, emphasizing the seriousness of his fraud conviction.
