Eric Anders Arrested for Attempting to Meet Underage Individual in East Baton Rouge
Eric Anders, a 61-year-old man, has been arrested in East Baton Rouge Parish for allegedly attempting to meet someone he believed to be a 16-year-old male. According to an arrest report, Anders engaged in conversations with undercover task force members posing as the minor, during which he sent explicit pictures and discussed meeting up. The task force, comprising members from the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, Baton Rouge Police Department, and Louisiana State Police, created a fake social media account to catch Anders. Despite being informed of the minor's age, Anders agreed to meet at a fast food restaurant, where he was subsequently taken into custody and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
