Severe Thunderstorms and Flash Flood Warnings in Western Pennsylvania
The National Weather Service has issued multiple weather alerts for Western Pennsylvania, including a flash flood warning for Washington and Greene counties and a flood watch for several others, such as Allegheny, Beaver, and Westmoreland counties. These alerts are in effect until 11 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21. Two rounds of thunderstorms are expected, with the first and strongest line of storms anticipated between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., followed by a second, less intense round starting around 6 p.m. The region is under a level three out of five risk for severe thunderstorms, which could bring heavy rainfall, strong winds, and localized flooding.
