Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency Issues RFP for Mixed-Use Development Projects
The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for new construction or rehabilitation of mixed-use development projects. This initiative aims to provide financial support through the Community Revitalization Fund Program. Mixed-use projects, which combine residential and retail/commercial spaces, are seen as catalysts for neighborhood revitalization. The deadline for proposal submission is 2 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026. This funding program was established as part of the commonwealth's fiscal year 2017/18 budget, with PHFA designated by the General Assembly to administer it. This year, PHFA is authorized to sell $4.5 million in state tax credits, using the proceeds to award grants for mixed-use properties in commercial/retail corridors undergoing revitalization across Pennsylvania.
