Century Music Hall Closure in Fort Wayne Due to Rising Costs and Safety Concerns
Century Music Hall, previously known as Piere’s Entertainment Center, located on St. Joe Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is closing after six years of operation. The owners announced the closure citing rising operational costs, financial obligations, and increasing public safety concerns as the primary reasons. Despite rumors, the venue clarified that it did not lose its liquor license, which was voluntarily placed into escrow. The venue has been a significant part of the local music scene, hosting national touring artists and providing a platform for local musicians. The closure marks a loss for the local music community, although Stan’s Room and Bobby McGee’s, associated with the venue, will remain open.
