Ukraine Seeks 15,000 Recruits to Establish Drone 'Kill Zone' Along Frontline
Ukraine is actively recruiting 15,000 personnel to enhance its drone-focused military units as part of the Drone Line project. This initiative aims to create a 'kill zone' spanning 10-15 kilometers along the frontline, where enemy forces would face significant losses. The project, integrated into the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) of Ukraine, involves specialized brigades and units equipped with drones for operations across land, sea, and air. The recruitment drive includes roles such as FPV/UAS operators and support positions like OSINT analysts and camouflage specialists. Training for these roles is conducted at three specialized centers using modern simulators. The initiative reflects Ukraine's strategic shift towards drone warfare, which has become a significant component of its military operations.
