Weill Cornell Medicine Showcases AI-Powered Devices for Healthcare Innovation
Weill Cornell Medicine is hosting an event titled 'Revolutionizing Healthcare with AI-Powered Devices' as part of #AIWeekNY, a community-led festival celebrating innovation in the AI ecosystem. The event will showcase various digital health innovations and technologies. Featured technologies include EmulatRx, an AI platform designed to support clinical trial design using real-world patient data, presented by Weishen Pan, PhD. Bobak Mosadegh, PhD, will present WAV AI, an AI-based tool for detecting fistula stenosis by analyzing sounds. Yiye Zhang, PhD, MS, will introduce an Epic-integrated clinical decision support tool for predicting postpartum depression risk using electronic health record data. Additionally, Rayaz A. Malik, MBChB, PhD, FRCP, will present on corneal confocal microscopy, a noninvasive approach for detecting neurodegenerative diseases through changes in corneal nerve fibers, utilizing quantitative imaging and predictive analysis.
