NYPD Investigates Men Emerging from Brooklyn Sewers, No Public Threat Found
The New York Police Department (NYPD) is investigating incidents involving groups of men seen emerging from sewers in Brooklyn. According to law enforcement officials, these individuals are believed to be scavenging for valuables that may have inadvertently entered the sewer system. The first report was received late Thursday night, with individuals seen entering and exiting manholes in different Brooklyn locations. The NYPD, along with environmental officials, conducted investigations and found no threat to public safety or the water system. No arrests or injuries have been reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
