Minecraft Education Launches Back-to-School Resources for Teachers
Minecraft Education has released a suite of resources aimed at helping teachers integrate the game into their classrooms for the new school year. These resources are designed to simplify the onboarding process for educators, whether they are new to Minecraft Education or experienced players looking to set up their classrooms. Key offerings include a comprehensive lesson library with hundreds of free, standards-aligned lessons, and the ability to design custom lessons using the Microsoft 365 Copilot Teach module. Teachers can also access 'Learn to Play' videos that cover game settings, worlds, and library navigation. A 'Teachers' Lounge' provides a global forum for educators to connect and share insights. For more in-depth training, the 'Minecraft Teacher Academy' offers a free, online, self-paced series of three one-hour sessions. Additionally, a free sixty-minute course on teaching AI literacy with Minecraft Education is available, complete with teaching resources, assessment rubrics, and a certificate.
