Norway and Ukraine Enhance Defense Cooperation with Drone Production Agreement
Norway and Ukraine have announced a significant enhancement in their defense cooperation, focusing on the production of Ukrainian drones in Norway. This agreement, revealed by the Norwegian government, involves Norway supporting the production of drones in Ukraine while Ukraine will share data, information, and knowledge with Norway. Additionally, Ukrainian drones will be manufactured on Norwegian soil. This collaboration was highlighted during a joint press conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Prime Minister Stoere emphasized the importance of learning from Ukraine's experiences in its ongoing conflict with Russia, underscoring the strategic value of this partnership.
