Chinese Startup Orienspace Secures Funding for Reusable Rocket Development
Orienspace, a Chinese commercial launch company, has secured funding to accelerate the development of its reusable Gravity-2 rocket. The company announced a pre-C funding round worth several hundred million yuan, with participation from institutional and state-linked investors. The funds will support the research, development, and production of the Gravity-2 rocket, which is designed to deploy megaconstellation projects in orbit. Orienspace aims to have the rocket ready for launch by the fourth quarter of this year, positioning itself among other Chinese firms seeking to list on Shanghai's STAR Market.
