Ex-Harvard Scientist Defects to China to Develop AI Super Soldiers
Charles Lieber, a former top scientist from Harvard University, has defected to China, where he is now leading efforts to develop AI super soldiers. Lieber, who was previously convicted of lying about his ties to China, is now the founding director of Shenzhen's Institute for Brain Research Advanced Interfaces and Neurotechnologies. His work focuses on brain-computer interfaces to enhance mental agility and situational awareness, which are key components in engineering super soldiers.
