The demolition of the Centennial Mills warehouse in Portland, Oregon, is proceeding ahead of schedule following a fire on August 2 that left the abandoned structure unstable. City officials initiated the demolition plan within two weeks of the fire, beginning with controlled detonations of the water tower atop the warehouse.
