Ukrainian Drones Target 36 Russian Military Sites, Disrupting Logistics and Infrastructure
Ukrainian defense forces executed a significant overnight operation targeting Russian military and infrastructure sites in occupied territories on June 8-9. The operation, coordinated by the Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces, successfully struck 36 sites, causing substantial damage to Russian logistics and operational capabilities. Key targets included two P-18 'Terek' radar systems in the Zaporizhzhia region, a Rubikon command post in Donetsk, and a temporary deployment site for Russian personnel in Kurakhove. The strikes also severely disrupted the electrical grid, hitting nine substations across Mariupol, Lysychansk, Luhansk, Makiivka, Sievierodonetsk, and Crimea. The operation involved various Ukrainian units, including the 414th Brigade 'Magyar’s Birds' and the Phoenix UAV Group, in collaboration with the Security Service of Ukraine.
