A Michigan couple, Lynette and Brian Hooker, known for chronicling their sailing adventures on social media, are at the center of a criminal investigation following Lynette's disappearance in the Bahamas. The couple had been documenting their journey aboard their sailboat, Soul Mate, on platforms like Facebook. Lynette went missing after reportedly falling overboard from a motorboat during a trip from Hope Town to Elbow Cay. Brian Hooker, who was arrested by Bahamian authorities, claims his wife fell overboard and was carried away by strong currents. The U.S. Coast Guard is conducting a separate investigation. The couple's history includes previous allegations of domestic disputes, adding complexity to the case.
