Attorney Challenges Green Bay's Response to Duplicate Ballot Investigation, Seeks Subpoenas

The attorney, Nicholas Boerke, argues that the city's explanation is incomplete and contradictory, failing to meet the commission's requirements. The commission had ordered Green Bay to explain how duplicate ballots were issued, identify any third-party vendors involved, and ensure that electors who received duplicate ballots could not vote more than once. Boerke's filing claims the city's response offers two mutually exclusive explanations and contradicts previous statements by the city clerk. The filing also questions the city's handling of third-party vendors and the effectiveness of its proposed ballot control plan.
