HX Foundation Launches Ambitious Fundraising Campaign for 130th Anniversary
The HX Foundation, the charitable arm of HX Expeditions, has initiated a major fundraising campaign to commemorate the company's 130th anniversary. The campaign aims to raise over EUR130,000 per ship throughout 2026, surpassing previous fundraising efforts. The funds will support five selected grantees focused on endangered species, plastic pollution, and local community support. The campaign includes onboard giving, special events, and 'Green Stays' to engage guests and partners. The Foundation's managing director, Henrik A. Lund, emphasized the importance of this milestone in continuing HX's legacy of environmental and community protection. The campaign will support initiatives such as ocean research, whale conservation, plastic pollution reduction, youth programs in Greenland, and educational resources in the Philippines.
