NASA Ames Recognizes May 2026 Science Stars for Contributions to Space and Earth Research
The NASA Ames Science Directorate has honored four individuals as the Science Stars of the Month for May 2026, acknowledging their significant contributions to various NASA missions. Lora Jovanović, a research scientist, was recognized for her work in expanding the Optical Constants Database, which is crucial for interpreting data from space missions. Tammy Moore, a resource analyst, was commended for her leadership in budget management within the Space Biosciences Division. Frances Donovan, a scientist and project manager, was acknowledged for her dedication and innovative approaches in task management for the FILMSS-2 project. Lastly, Jaden Ta, a deputy project manager, was recognized for her strategic role in the Earth Venture Suborbital FarmFlux investigation, contributing to the development of the project's implementation plan.
