She acknowledged that she and her husband, former President Joe Biden, were partly in denial about Hunter's addiction, which began after the death of his brother, Beau Biden, in 2015. Hunter Biden has since achieved sobriety and is now an artist and advocate for other recovering addicts. Jill Biden also touched on her husband's battle with prostate cancer, which has shifted her perspective on life and anger, particularly regarding political pressures faced by her husband.
