Ukrainian Firm Develops High-Speed Drone to Counter Russian Jet-Powered Shaheds
Ukrainian defense company SkyFall has announced the development of a new interceptor drone, the P1-SUN JetKiller, designed to counter Russia's jet-powered Shahed drones. The JetKiller boasts a top speed of 230 mph and can operate at altitudes of up to 30,000 feet. It is equipped with a 500-gram explosive payload and can be configured for day or night operations. The drone's speed and maneuverability are crucial for intercepting the faster Shahed models, which have been increasingly used by Russia. SkyFall's JetKiller also features an AI-based terminal guidance system, enhancing its targeting capabilities. The company plans to begin mass production in August, aiming to produce 50,000 units monthly.
