Paraguayan Ambassador Supports Jerusalem as Israel's Capital, Strengthening Diplomatic Ties
Paraguayan Ambassador Alejandro Rubin Cymerman has reaffirmed his country's support for Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. This stance aligns Paraguay with a select group of nations, including the United States, Guatemala, and Honduras, whose embassies are located in Jerusalem. Cymerman, who has previously served as the honorary consul for Israel in Paraguay and as president of the Paraguay-Israel Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the historical and religious significance of Jerusalem to Israelis. His comments come as Paraguay prepares to celebrate its 215th anniversary of independence. The ambassador's position underscores Paraguay's longstanding pro-Israel stance, which is further evidenced by its embassy's location in Jerusalem.
