Sutter Health and SCAN Health Plan Expand Medicare Advantage Collaboration in Northern California
Sutter Health, a not-for-profit integrated healthcare system, and SCAN Health Plan, a large not-for-profit Medicare Advantage Plan, have deepened their strategic collaboration to expand access to coordinated care for Medicare-eligible patients across Northern California. This partnership, which began with the launch of Sutter Senior Advantage (a SCAN Medicare Plan HMO) in 2026, now serves over 20,000 members. The co-branded products will be available in San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Mateo, and Sonoma counties starting in 2027, building on existing availability in Alameda, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Yolo counties.
