Natalie Harp, an executive assistant to President Trump, wrote deeply personal letters to him during his presidential campaign in 2023, which reportedly 'alarmed' the Secret Service. These letters, published in full by The Daily Beast and obtained by Trump biographer Michael Wolff, reveal Harp's profound admiration and devotion to President Trump. Written around the time of a trip to Scotland and Ireland, the letters discuss personal matters such as the death of her father, her feelings of approaching burnout, and her desire to make President Trump proud. New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman noted that the Secret Service was concerned by some of the letters, which were left in President Trump's personal spaces. The White House has defended Harp, with spokesman Davis Ingle stating she is 'one of the most loyal and hardest-working aides on President Trump’s team.'
