Port Huron Township Heritage Museum Hosts Open House Celebrating Local History
The Port Huron Township Heritage Museum is set to host an open house event on June 13, from noon to 4 p.m., celebrating local history and the fire department. The event will take place at the museum located at 3800 Lapeer Road in Port Huron Township. Attendees will have the opportunity to view a display of emergency vehicles, including the Engine 1 ladder truck and rescue equipment. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Gunns Services. The event will also feature tractor displays, wagon rides from the St. Clair County Farm Museum, and a concession trailer from The Property Farms and McCallum's Orchard & Cider Mill. Additionally, the St. Clair County Genealogy and History Society will offer family research opportunities, and guests can tour the Grand Trunk Western caboose and view Port Huron Township's 1913 steam engine.
