Golden Retrievers Gather in Buenos Aires for World Record Attempt
In Buenos Aires, Argentina, a significant gathering of golden retrievers took place as dog lovers aimed to set a new world record for the most golden retrievers assembled in one location. The event occurred in a park in the Palermo neighborhood, where more than 2,000 golden retrievers were present, surpassing the previous record of 1,685. The gathering was organized by Fausto Duperré, and participants included Maximiliano Rivero and his dog Manola, among many other enthusiasts. The event was marked by a festive atmosphere, with dogs and their owners enjoying the day, some dogs even dressed in soccer jerseys and other accessories. The final count of golden retrievers reached 2,397, setting a new world record.
