CHRI Radio Partners with Local Grocer for Ottawa Flood Relief Efforts
CHRI Radio has taken an active role in supporting flood recovery efforts in Ottawa, Canada, following the devastating floods that affected 6,000 residents on July 1st. The radio station collaborated with a local grocery store, Davy’s Your Independent Grocer, to provide meals for volunteers involved in the relief operations. This initiative is part of a broader effort by Samaritan’s Purse, which has dispatched teams to assist in the cleanup and recovery process. CHRI’s Media Consultant, Dan Cole, emphasized the importance of community partnerships in times of need, highlighting the station’s commitment to bringing people together through Christian radio.
