Community Mourns Two Fire Chiefs Killed in Richmond Township UTV Crash
In Richmond Township, Pennsylvania, the community is mourning the tragic loss of Walnuttown Fire Chief Jeff Buck and Assistant Chief Robert Shick. The two fire chiefs were involved in a fatal accident while participating in a search for a missing person. They were in a UTV on the side of Route 222 when a car swerved and hit them head-on. The driver, identified as 26-year-old Alexander Sepulveda-Rivera from the Bronx, fled the scene but was later apprehended. He is currently in Berks County Jail and faces charges including two counts of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence. A makeshift memorial has been set up at the crash site, and a procession was held to honor the fallen chiefs. Both men were long-serving members of the fire department, having joined in their teens, and are remembered for their dedication and service.
