Historic 104-Year-Old Adobe Home in Los Angeles Listed for $1.85 Million
The Alice Lynch House, a 104-year-old adobe home in Los Angeles, has been listed for sale at $1.85 million. Located in the historic West Adams Terrace neighborhood, this home is one of the few remaining examples of traditional adobe construction in the city. Built in 1922 for poet Alice Lynch, the house was designed by architect Henry Harwood Hewitt and adobe specialist John Byers. The two-story, nearly 2,500-square-foot home features thick adobe walls, exposed timber beams, and a large brick fireplace. Despite modern updates, the home retains its historic character, with renovations that blend seamlessly with its original design.
