Frozen Berries Sold at Walmart and Trader Joe's Recalled Due to E. coli Contamination Risk
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a recall of frozen berries sold at Walmart and Trader Joe's due to potential E. coli contamination. The affected products include Great Value brand frozen organic blueberries and frozen organic Triple Berry Blend, sold in 10-ounce bags at Walmart stores across 30 states. Additionally, Trader Joe's frozen organic Mixed Berry Blend, sold in 12-ounce packages in 26 states, is also part of the recall. The Great Value frozen blueberries have specific UPC and lot codes, along with best-if-used-by dates ranging from January 19, 2028, to June 12, 2028. The Great Value Triple Berry Blend, containing strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries, has UPC and lot codes with best-if-used-by dates of January 31, 2028, and February 10, 2028.
