NIT Srinagar Seminar Encourages Engineering Students to Embrace Innovation and Emerging Technologies
NIT Srinagar recently hosted a seminar focused on 'Smart Automation in Energy and Manufacturing', aimed at encouraging engineering students to embrace innovation and emerging technologies. The event featured Er. Amit Kumar, a distinguished alumnus and Business Unit Head at Schneider Electric India, as the keynote speaker. He emphasized the importance of Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, and smart automation in transforming India's energy and manufacturing sectors. The seminar was part of the Alumni Back to Classroom initiative, which seeks to strengthen ties between academia and industry by providing students with opportunities to learn from accomplished alumni. The event was coordinated by Er. Farhan Manzoor Shah, Dr. H.S. Pali, and Er. R.P. Singh, and concluded with a vote of thanks, highlighting the initiative's success in equipping young engineers with practical knowledge and technological perspectives.
