Woman Killed in Boise Drive-By Shooting on West Clement Road
A woman was killed in a drive-by shooting that occurred on Sunday morning, just before 6 a.m., on the 3900 block of West Clement Road in Boise’s West Bench. According to a Boise Police Department (BPD) press release, an unknown suspect fired multiple shots into a short-term vacation rental home from a 'sedan style vehicle.' The victim, who was on the front porch at the time, was struck by the gunfire. Investigators believe the suspect was targeting the party as a whole, or possibly one or two attendees, rather than the victim specifically. Despite a large number of occupants inside the home, no other injuries were reported. Boise Fire Department and Ada County Paramedics responded to the scene, but the victim died despite lifesaving efforts. Her identity has not been publicly released. The investigation is ongoing, with officers canvassing the area for witnesses and evidence.
