South African Airways Expands Flights Amid Fuel Supply Discussions
South African Airways (SAA) has announced the addition of new flights, ensuring that its services remain unaffected despite ongoing discussions regarding aviation fuel supply in South Africa. The airline has implemented contingency plans to maintain its network operations without disruption. As part of its capacity expansion, SAA has introduced two additional services, SA280 on April 24 and SA281 on April 25, with ample availability on both flights. This move is part of SAA's strategy to strengthen its trade relationships with Australia and New Zealand, offering tailored training sessions and webinars for agent teams. Additionally, SAA is promoting a one-stop routing from Perth to São Paulo via Johannesburg, facilitating combined itineraries to South Africa and South America on a single ticket. Connections to other South American destinations are available through partnerships with GOL and LATAM.
