Macmillan Publishers to Release Tomi Adeyemi's New Novel 'The Siren' in September 2026
Macmillan Publishers, through its imprint Henry Holt and Company, is set to release Tomi Adeyemi's new young adult novel, 'The Siren,' in the United States on September 29, 2026. The book, categorized as young adult fiction for ages 16 to 18, will be available in print, ebook, and audiobook formats. Adeyemi, known for her bestselling 'Legacy of Orïsha' fantasy trilogy, will also narrate the audiobook herself. 'The Siren' marks a departure from her previous fantasy works, presenting a dark academia novel set at Dartmouth College. The story follows Emery, a freshman who becomes entangled with a mysterious and glamorous group of women known as the Sirens, led by Roux. The narrative explores themes of ambition, belonging, and the intoxicating nature of power, with speculative elements woven into a contemporary setting. The UK hardcover edition, published by Pan Macmillan under its First Ink imprint, is scheduled for October 1, 2026.
