UK Ministry of Defence to Supply 120,000 UAVs to Ukraine by 2026
The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has announced plans to supply at least 120,000 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Ukraine by 2026, with deliveries already commencing in April 2026. This initiative includes a variety of UAVs such as long-range strike drones, intelligence and reconnaissance platforms, and logistics and maritime platforms. These UAVs are described as battle-proven on Ukraine's frontline. The majority of these UAVs will be provided by British companies including Tekever, Windracers, and Malloy Aeronautics. Simon Muderack, CEO of Windracers, highlighted the dual-use heavy-lift capabilities of the Windracers Ultra UAVs, which are designed to offer long-range operational support.
