The Bush family, with deep roots in Kennebunkport, Maine, has been influential in American politics for generations, producing two presidents and several other high-ranking officials. However, their influence has waned in recent years, particularly with the rise of President Trump's populist movement, which has shifted the Republican Party's focus away from the Bush-era conservatism.
