McCarty Family Farms has launched a new interactive dairy nutrition exhibit at the Judy McCarty Dairy Learning Center in Rexford, Kansas. A companion exhibit has also opened at the MVP Dairy Learning Center in Celina, Ohio. These initiatives, supported by the Cargill Cares Council, aim to educate students, families, and community members about animal nutrition's role in cow health, dairy farm performance, and milk quality. The learning centers have collectively hosted over 100,000 in-person and virtual visitors from all 50 states and more than 75 countries since their inception. Ken McCarty, co-owner of McCarty Family Farms and MVP Dairy, emphasized the family's commitment to helping people understand food origins and animal care. Cargill, a long-standing partner providing nutrition for the farms' cows, expressed pride in supporting these centers to connect communities with agriculture and inspire future generations.

Activities ranged from catching crawfish and watching cockroach races to interacting with farm animals like cows, sheep, chickens, and horses at the Animal Sciences’ Equine Teaching Facility. Samples of local produce, grape juice, and Buck’s Ice Cream were offered, and children under 12 could earn a free pumpkin by collecting stamps on a 'passport.' A new addition this year was the MooZOU Gallery for Kids, a mobile exhibition using play-based learning to educate children about the beef industry, including a toy grill for 3D-printed steaks and a cow model for learning beef...

These processes collectively resulted in hazardous water levels of 1–1.5 m, particularly near Atlantic City, New Jersey. The storm surge was driven by air pressure drops and strong winds, while the meteotsunami was caused by atmospheric gravity waves. The Tonga tsunami waves travelled over 13,000 km, impacting the region through air-sea resonance mechanisms.
