President Trump Signs Executive Order for TrumpIRA, Expanding Retirement Savings Options
President Trump has signed an executive order to create TrumpIRA.gov, a new marketplace for retirement accounts aimed at workers without employer-sponsored plans. The initiative allows single taxpayers with modified adjusted gross incomes of $20,500 to receive a 50% contribution match up to $1,000 annually. The program integrates with the Savers' Match, established under the Secure 2.0 legislation. The executive order aims to provide more Americans with access to retirement savings tools, including IRAs, annuities, and mortgage refinancing options, to enhance financial security in retirement.
