Ukrainian Drone Strikes Moscow Skyscraper, Highlighting Security Breach
A Ukrainian drone struck a high-rise residential complex near central Moscow, marking a rare breach of the Russian capital's defenses. The incident occurred early Monday, with no reported injuries, according to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. The drone crashed in a southwestern district near the historic Mosfilm studio. Local media published images showing damage to the building, identified as the Dom na Mosfilmovskoy, a luxury residential complex. This attack is part of a series of drone incursions, with Russian authorities reporting the interception of 117 Ukrainian drones nationwide, including in the Moscow region. The attack comes just days before Russia's annual Victory Day military parade, which has been scaled down due to security concerns.
