Turkey's Intelligence Chief Engages Libyan Delegation to Foster National Unity
The head of Turkey's National Intelligence Organization, Ibrahim Kalin, recently hosted a high-level Libyan delegation in Ankara. The meeting aimed to bridge the divide between Libya's rival eastern and western administrations. The Libyan delegation included Deputy Defense Minister Abdulsalam al-Zoubi, national security adviser Ibrahim Dbeibeh, and Interior Minister Emad Trabelsi. Discussions with Turkish officials, including Interior Minister Mustafa Ciftci and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, focused on regional developments, enhancing Turkish-Libyan cooperation, and maintaining stability in Libya. Turkey has expressed its commitment to supporting Libya's territorial and political unity, seeking to unify the country's divided administrations under a single national framework.
