DHS Adds 43 Companies to UFLPA Entity List in Largest Expansion to Date
On August 3, 2026, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the addition of 43 companies to the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) Entity List, marking the largest single expansion since the law's enactment. This brings the total number of entities on the list to 187. The newly listed companies operate in sectors such as aluminum, apparel, copper, cotton, and tomatoes. The UFLPA establishes a rebuttable presumption that goods from these entities are produced with forced labor, prohibiting their entry into the United States unless importers can provide clear and convincing evidence to the contrary.
