Florida Woman Survives Car Crash with Alligator, Faces Long Recovery
Maslin Kurtz, a 25-year-old from Myakka City, Florida, survived a severe car accident after her vehicle collided with an alligator on March 5. The impact caused her car to roll over, resulting in significant injuries, including fractures to her shoulder, sternum, and spine. Kurtz spent several days in the ICU but is now recovering at home. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to assist with her medical expenses and lost income during her recovery period. The incident highlights the increased risk of wildlife-related accidents during the alligator mating season, which peaks in May and June.
