Severe Storm Threat Reignites Across U.S. Heartland
After a brief weekend lull, severe storms will return from Monday, May 4 through May 7, impacting much of the central and eastern U.S. Storms will first develop across the Midwest on Monday, then intensify Tuesday–Wednesday across Texas, Oklahoma and the lower Mississippi Valley with risks of hail, damaging winds and a few tornadoes. By Thursday, storms push toward the East Coast, bringing gusty winds and heavy rain, along with possible travel delays.
