According to Atlanta News First, isolated showers or brief storms may occur on Sunday and Monday, but most areas in north Georgia will remain dry. High pressure is expected to dominate the region, leading to increased heat and humidity. By midweek, widespread triple-digit heat index values are anticipated, particularly along and south of I-85. The heat is expected to persist through Friday, with temperatures staying in the mid-90s. A weak front may bring some relief over the weekend, with a chance of storms on Saturday or Sunday, though forecast models currently differ on the timing.
