Minnesota Prosecutors Charge ICE Agent with Assault, Issue Nationwide Arrest Warrant
Gregory Donnell Morgan Jr., an ICE agent, has been charged with two counts of assault by Minnesota state prosecutors following a road rage incident. Morgan allegedly pointed his firearm at two individuals in another vehicle while driving on the shoulder of a highway in Minneapolis. The incident is linked to the Trump administration's 'Operation Metro Surge,' which has been criticized for aggressive immigration enforcement actions. Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty announced the charges, marking the first federal agent charged in connection with the operation. The case is part of ongoing investigations into federal agents' conduct in the Twin Cities.
