Health Canada Approves Lunsumio for Treatment of Relapsed Follicular Lymphoma
Health Canada has granted market authorization for Lunsumio (mosunetuzumab) for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma who have undergone at least two prior systemic therapies. This approval includes both intravenous and subcutaneous formulations, offering flexible administration options for healthcare providers and patients. Lunsumio is a bispecific antibody that targets CD20 on B-cells and CD3 on T-cells, facilitating the destruction of cancerous B-cells by T-cells. The approval is based on the results of the pivotal GO29781 study, which demonstrated significant treatment effects.
