University of Manchester Offers Fully Funded Scholarships for African Students to Drive Sustainable Development
The University of Manchester has announced the Equity and Merit Scholarships for the academic year 2027-2028, aimed at outstanding graduates from Ethiopia, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe. These scholarships are fully funded and cover tuition fees, living expenses, return flights, and visa costs for eligible students pursuing selected master's programs at the university. The initiative is designed to support academically excellent students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have the potential to create lasting social impact in their home countries. The program particularly encourages applications from women and seeks future leaders committed to improving their communities through education, innovation, research, and public service. Applications for the scholarships open on August 1, 2026, and close on August 31, 2026.
